Mike Snyder
Abacus is a family owned business in Steamboat Springs, CO. The owner is Michael Snyder, who is proud husband of Jacqueline and father of Ella. Michael graduated high school in Bainbridge, Ohio in 1993. That summer, he joined the Navy as an Electricians Mate in the Nuclear Engineering program. After the Navy, he entered the trade of heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC).
Michael got his civilian technical certifications through the West Side Institute of Technology in Cleveland, OH. He has worked in many different capacities in the trades including but not limited to the following:
- Sheet Metal Design, Fabrication and Installation
- Hydronic (water-based) Design, Installation and Service
- Controls Design, Installation and Commissioning
- Airflow Balance and Design
- Solar Thermal Design, Installation and Service
- Power Generation Design, Installation and Commissioning
- Refrigeration Design, Installation and Service
